Frented Terms of Service

1. About Frented

Frented is a private technology platform operated by Frented Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales.

Frented enables members to connect and share homes within a trusted community.

Frented does not:

• own, manage, inspect, insure, supervise, or guarantee any homes listed or shared through the platform
• act as a landlord, tenant, broker, agent, property manager, or party to any agreement between members

1.1 Platform-Only Role

Frented operates solely as an intermediary technology platform facilitating introductions between members.

Frented does not control, monitor, verify, or assess:

• the condition, safety, legality, or suitability of any home
• the conduct of any member
• any interaction, agreement, or arrangement between members

No fiduciary duty, duty of care, agency, partnership, or joint venture is created by use of the platform.

2. Membership

Membership is by application and is curated.

Frented may accept, decline, suspend, or revoke membership at any time, with or without notice, where necessary to protect the platform or community.

Approval is not guaranteed.

3. Member Obligations

Members are solely responsible for:

• the accuracy of all information provided
• compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, leases, mortgage terms, and insurance policies
• ensuring they are legally permitted to share their home

Frented does not verify legal compliance and accepts no responsibility for it.

4. Home Sharing Arrangements

All home-sharing arrangements are made directly between members.

Frented does not facilitate or manage:

• payments
• deposits
• contracts
• keys
• insurance
• access arrangements

unless expressly stated otherwise.

Members are responsible for setting expectations, boundaries, and terms between themselves.

5. Fees

Any fees charged by Frented will be clearly disclosed.

Frented may introduce, modify, or remove fees at any time.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• use Frented for unlawful purposes
• misrepresent yourself or your home
• scrape, copy, or misuse platform content
• circumvent safeguards or access controls
• interfere with the platform's operation or security

7. Risk and Limitation of Liability

Frented provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• all warranties, express or implied, are excluded
• Frented is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, theft, dispute, or claim arising from interactions or arrangements between members

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

7.1 Property and Personal Risk

Any sharing of homes is undertaken entirely at members' own risk.

Frented is not responsible for:

• damage to property
• loss of belongings
• personal injury or death
• safety, hygiene, or habitability issues

whether occurring before, during, or after a stay.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Frented Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, costs, or liabilities arising from:

• your use of the platform
• your breach of these Terms
• any dispute with another member

9. Termination

You may stop using Frented at any time.

Frented may suspend or terminate access immediately if these Terms or community standards are breached.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
